In the early 20th century, the Japanese had purchased the license rights to produce the Hotchkiss machine gun, Japanese engineer Kijiro Nambu improved the original design to better meet the requirements of the Japanese army. Initially the Type 38 heavy machine gun was produced, later some further design changes led to the development and commissioning of the Type 3 machine gun. The Type 3 had been in service since 1914 and used the 6.5 ??mm Arisaka rifle rounds. The Japanese Army used these weapons during World War I, in all conflicts in the interwar years, and also during World War II. Many of the weapons were captured and ended up in Kim Il Sung's Korean Army and the communist guerrillas in Vietnam.

"War Has No Gender" - Service Women of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 1/35 Scale - ICM Figurine Set.As of October 2023, there were nearly 43 thousand military women in the Ukrainian armed forces. Ukraine has one of the highest rates of women in the armed forces among the world's armies, including NATO armies. In the past, women mainly held auxiliary positions such as doctors, signalmen, or cooks. However, with the start of full-scale hostilities in February 2022, more and more women have taken on combat roles such as driving combat vehicles, operating grenade launchers, machine guns, snipers, and drones. Many women also serve as commanders of combat vehicles, units, and reconnaissance groups. Lieutenant General Serhiy Naiev, commander of the Joint Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, emphasizes, "What unites them all is that they are real Ukrainian women who could not stay at home when their homeland cried out to the world for help. We noticed and felt how our women strengthened and transformed themselves during a year and a half of large-scale invasion, surpassing, in my opinion, the legendary Amazons."

Vickers machine gun (World War II variant) 1/35 scale - CMK set.The Vickers machine gun was developed on the basis of the earlier Maxim weapon. The design boasted of great effectiveness and almost 100 percent reliability. These technically perfect Vickers guns were produced in large numbers for both the army (they were water-cooled) and the air force, where they were air-cooled. The British Army used the Vickers well until the late 1960s, and in other countries...armies, the weapon also served much longer. And since the Vickers machine gun remained in production for a long time, it is not surprising that the numerous production batches differed in various more or less important respects. Our P35026 kit features the World War II-style Vickers used during the war and postwar years, particularly in the Korean and Vietnam wars.

MG 34/41 World War II German Machine Gun (2 pieces) 1/35 scale - Set CMK. The MG34/41 machine gun was a further development of the original MG34 weapon to meet Wehrmacht requirements for a higher rate of fire and simplified production. The former was solved by strengthening the ejector assembly while the latter was solved by improving the ammunition feeding mechanism. Production was less demanding by pressing some components and also by eliminating complex machining operations. All this, however, led to an overall weight increase of about 14 kg more than the previous standard MG34. The entire new batch of weapons production was employed on the Eastern Front.
