I lavori di progettazione iniziarono nel 1960. Il 15 agosto 1961, il prototipo B.206X (registrazione G-ARRM) completò il suo volo inaugurale. October, 2019.Il Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II, o Joint Strike Fighter-F35, è un caccia multiruolo monoposto di 5ª generazione, a singolo propulsore, con ala trapezoidale e caratteristiche stealth. Le sue capacità multiruolo lo rendono utilizzabile per compiti di supporto aereo ravvicinato, bombardamento tattico e missioni di supremazia aerea.L'aereo viene anche definito in ambito militare come omni-ruolo data la capacità di svolgere contemporaneamente, senza tornare alle base per modificare il suo assetto, differenti attività operative.Battendo il Boeing X-32, è diventato il vincitore della gara per il programma JSF (Joint Strike Fighter) per la ricerca di un aereo che potesse sostituire diversi modelli dell'USAF, dell'US Navy e dei USMC (Marines). Inizialmente era previsto che circa l'80% delle parti fosse in comune fra le diverse versioni, ma poi, con l'evolversi del progetto, non si è potuto raggiungere più del 25/27%, sebbene l'elettronica di bordo e una parte del software saranno molto simili tra loro.Esistono tre versioni dell'F-35: una variante a decollo e atterraggio convenzionale (F-35A - Conventional Take Off and Landing), una variante a decollo corto e atterraggio verticale, per poter operare da portaerei di dimensioni ridotte come la portaerei italiana Cavour (F-35B Short Take Off And Vertical Landing), e una variante per l'uso su portaerei convenzionali dotate di catapulte (F-35C - Catapult Assisted Take Off But Arrested Recovery).

1/72 de Havilland Mosquito B.Mk.XVI & PR.34 CollectionIl de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito era un aereo monoplano e bimotore realizzato dall'azienda britannica de Havilland Aircraft Company sul finire degli anni trenta.Impiegato durante la seconda guerra mondiale, si dimostrò estremamente versatile e fu utilizzato in diversi ruoli dalla Royal Air Force (RAF) e da molte altre forze aeree alleate sia nel teatro europeo che in quelli del Pacifico e del Mediterraneo; in diverse forze armate venne mantenuto in servizio anche oltre il periodo bellico e fu anche utilizzato dalla British Overseas Airways Corporation (BOAC) come aereo da trasporto.Soprannominato affettuosamente "Mossie" (diminutivo di "mosquito", "zanzara" in inglese), aveva anche altri nomignoli, prevalentemente legati alla realizzazione lignea della cellula: The Wooden Wonder (la Meraviglia di legno), The Timber Terror (il Terrore di legno)[4] e, meno rispettosamente, The Termite's Dream (il sogno delle termiti). Fu la base per lo sviluppo del caccia pesante de Havilland Hornet e del suo derivato navale Sea Hornet.

Il Regno Unito è stato il primo cliente di esportazione per l'F-4 Phantom, che è stato ordinato nel contesto di difficoltà politiche ed economiche relative ai progetti britannici per i ruoli che alla fine ha assunto. Il Phantom è stato incaricato di prestare servizio sia nel Fleet Air Arm (FAA) della Royal Navy che nella Royal Air Force (RAF) in diversi ruoli tra cui difesa aerea , supporto aereo ravvicinato , attacco a basso livello e ricognizione tattica.Sebbene assemblati negli Stati Uniti, i primi Phantom del Regno Unito erano un lotto speciale costruito separatamente con una quantità significativa di tecnologia britannica come mezzo per allentare la pressione sull'industria aerospaziale nazionale a seguito di importanti cancellazioni di progetti. Nella RAF fu presto sostituito nei suoi compiti iniziali da altri velivoli progettati specificamente per l'attacco, il supporto aereo ravvicinato e la ricognizione, e fu invece spostato per prestare servizio nella missione di difesa aerea. 1/72 Hawker Siddeley HS.125 Collection (6)Il British Aerospace 125 è un aereo bireattore plurimpiego, monoplano ad ala bassa, prodotto dalla britannica British Aerospace, conosciuto anche come Dominie ha compiuto il primo volo il 13 agosto 1962.Il progetto originario del BAe 125 venne ideato dalla de Havilland Aircraft Company che con il modello DH.125 Jet Dragon, nel corso del 1961, decide di produrre un piccolo jet per utilizzo business. Il primo dei due prototipi Viene portato in volo per la prima volta il 13 agosto 1962 equipaggiato con due turboreattori Viper 20.Passata successivamente la produzione alla Hawker Siddeley Aircraft, il modello viene ridenominato HS.125, fino all'emissione del Aircraft and Shipbuilding Industries Act del 1977 in cui il governo britannico intese la nazionalizzazione della produzione aeronautica. Da quel momento viene prodotto dalla British Aerospace.Nel 1993 la linea di produzione dei BAe 125 viene scorporata dalla British Aerospace e acquisita dalla statunitense Raytheon Aircraft Company e l'aereo prende il nome di Hawker 800.
